New Year, New Idea...

So, in my 35 or so years of knitting I have tried valiantly - on MANY occasions - to track my projects - I have the MANY journals, software programs and binders to prove my intentions - it struck me that this might work - combine my love for things techno with my obsession for things knitterly, and maybe I can pull it off... plus get in a little venting and feedback from like-minded souls all at once -

what's not to love??!!

So, as Christmas gifts I made a hat and mitt set with yarn and pattern from KnitPicks for my sister-in-law, and another for a friend - and two gorgeously easy ruffled scarves -

My FO's of 2006 are two baby blankets and a baby hat, plus I'm working on a sweater from the most recent Interweave Knits for me, and a Wonderful Wallaby for each of my sons - if I can upload pics of these I will...

and now the Knitting Olympics!!! For which I am planning to design and execute a basic raglan v-neck, made from BEE-YOO-TEE-FUL deep wine cashmere from a wonderful seller on Ebay - much trouble to be had on his site, I assure you!

So, let the swatching begin!
