A moment of silence, please...
as seen in our local newspaper...
Fare thee well, Mr. Squishy...

Don't laugh.....I put a thank you to our Vet in the paper when our Bernese passed away -- to thank him for all of his support over the years......they do become like part of the family....well, dogs do....I'm not sure about ginea pigs LOL!!!
I'm not sure what it is about this that makes me laugh, exactly, because I was certainly all broken up when our first bunny died, and I can't imagine how I'll be if/when something happens to our dogs -
I just really hope he was Squishy in name only! Poor little hamps.
Yeah - I remember about 3 weeks after I got Kira suddenly coming wide awake (you know that half asleep still thinking time of bed?) realizing how different it was going to be from losing a cat. Which is also sad - but a dog is whole other level.
Now I mostly ignore all such topics/thoughts. Especially since she is somehow 7 yrs old.
I would need a full page ad with so many deaths this year of my beloved pets...Tomorrow, being Memorial Day I thought it would be fitting to sprinkle Lucy's ashes around her favorite catnip bush and her other little spots...and then there is Libby...and then there was Viper. Bad things happen in threes they say...so perhaps we are out of the woods.

there's definitely something about it, though
Holy CRAP! I laughed out loud (at work) and had to show this around. I think it's the name. Everyone needs a Mr. Squishy in their lives...
